NOTICE is hereby given that the 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce A.S.B.L. (CHINALUX) will be held on 17th June 2021 (Thursday) at 5:00pm, at the professional address of the Chairperson. We welcome members to share their views in advance of the meeting (see “Voting” below) and to join the meeting by live stream.

Participation in the AGM

In accordance with the law of 23 September 2020 concerning the holding of remote meetings in companies and other legal entities governed by Luxembourg laws (as amended), the Board of Directors of CHINALUX has decided that the AGM will be held without physical attendance of participants and that members wishing to vote at the AGM shall appoint the sole proxy holder designated by the Board of Directors of CHINALUX.

AGM AGENDA
1. President’s Welcome.
2. Appointment of the Chairman, the Secretary and the Scrutineer of the Meeting.
3. Presentation of the Activity Report.
4. Presentation of the Treasurer’s Report.
5. Presentation of the Honorary Auditor’s Report for the Social Year 2020.
6. Approval of the Annual Accounts of the Chamber for the Social Year 2020.
7. Discharge of the Honorary Auditors for the Social Year 2020.
8. Approval of the Budget of the Chamber for the Social Year 2021.
9. Appointment of the Honorary Auditors for the Social Year 2021.
10. Approval of Membership Fees.
11. Acknowledgement of the Termination of the Mandate of Mr. Chi ZHANG as Director of the Executive Board.
12. Approval of co-optations of directors since the last General Meeting.
13. Discharge of the Executive Board Directors for the Social Year 2020.
14. Other Matters.

Voting:
Pursuant to the Articles of Association of CHINALUX (art. 19) each Member has the right to one vote at the Meeting and decisions are taken by simple majority of votes of Members present or represented. Representation by Power of Attorney will be possible after submission of the necessary Power of Attorney document signed by both the Principal and the Proxy.

Please complete and sign the Power of Attorney and send to the sole proxy holder appointed by the Board of Directors of CHINALUX, Ms. King Zhujun XIE (or any other member of the Steering Committee in her absence), by email to CHINALUX office team at info@china-lux.lu, by close of business on 11th June 2021 (Friday).

Zoom Background Setup Guideline

Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
In the navigation menu, click Settings.
In the Meeting tab, navigate to the Virtual Background option (under the In Meeting (Advanced) section) and verify that the setting is enabled.
Log into the desktop client, click “Virtual Background”, upload your customised photo.

Note:
*Best not to wear clothing that is the same colour as the virtual background.
