A very special day – February 29, 2024, witnessed a grand Chinese New Year Gala Dinner at ChinaLux. This event was held at the prestigious premises of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg. The celebration was filled with joy, appreciation and cultural significance. Attendees were treated with a sumptuous and dedicately prepared dinner. With members and friends coming together to exchange blessings and well-wishes for the new year, the Gala Dinner served as a vibrant reminder of the enduring spirit of unity and celebration within the ChinaLux community.

Mr. Jacques Bortuzzo, Vice President of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, firstly invited everyone to take a seat after the aperitif among our distinguished guests.

Ms. Zhujun Xie, President of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, then delivered a warm welcome speech, extending heartfelt greetings and gratitude to all the sponsors, members and guests. With grace and enthusiasm, she emphasized the significance of coming together to celebrate this important occasion and encouraged guests to embrace the spirit of the new year.

During the next address at the Chinese New Year Gala Dinner, His Exellency Mr. Hua Ning, the Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg, emphasized the strong economic ties between China and Luxembourg. He expressed joy in witnessing the celebration of the Chinese New Year and affirmed his support for ChinaLux. His Exellency highlighted the importance of exchange and collaboration in strengthening relations between the two nations, underscoring their shared commitment to mutual prosperity.

Afterwards, Mr. Jeffrey Dentzer, Deputy CEO of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, extended a warm welcome to all attendees and expressed gratitude for the contributions of ChinaLux to the community over the years. Recognizing the ChinaLux’s efforts, he highlighted its positive impact on fostering collaboration and prosperity within the community. His remarks emphasized the importance of continued support for initiatives that promote exchange and economic growth.
