The China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX) hosted its annual Christmas Drinks event at Hôtel Parc Belair, bringing together 140 members, partners, and representatives from the Luxembourg–China business community for an evening of networking and celebration.

The event began with a welcome address by Mr. Jacques Bortuzzo, President of CHINALUX, who expressed his sincere appreciation for the continued support and engagement of the Chamber’s members throughout the year.

This was followed by remarks from H.E. Mr. Hua Ning, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Luxembourg, who highlighted the importance of sustained cooperation and dialogue between the two countries, and also referenced China’s Five-Year Plan and its relevance for future partnership opportunities.

Attendees then enjoyed two insightful corporate presentations:

• Goeres Group, presented by Ms. Pauline Benoit and Mr. Arthur Pagliuca, offering an overview of the group’s activities and long-standing commitment to hospitality in Luxembourg.
• Brasserie Nationale and Munhowen, presented by Ms. Isabelle Lentz, CEO of Munhowen, who shared perspectives on innovation, tradition, and the Luxembourg beverage industry.

The programme was moderated by Ms. Kelly Jorritsma, Vice President of CHINALUX, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow throughout the evening.

CHINALUX was also pleased to welcome Ms. Ni Xialian, renowned table tennis player and Luxembourg sporting icon, whose presence added a special highlight to the event.
