CHINALUX and the India Business Chamber of Luxembourg (IBCL) were delighted to host the “Welcome to Luxembourg”event, an unforgettable evening dedicated to networking, cultural exchange, and discovering the beauty of Luxembourg.
Guests enjoyed a memorable journey aboard the elegant Princesse Marie-Astrid, cruising through the picturesque Moselle Valley and exploring the historic landmarks of Remich and Schengen, that reflect Luxembourg’s rich heritage and its important place in Europe. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the Prinzessin Marie-Astrid Europa, where the Schengen Agreement was signed on board on 14 June 1985.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Jacques Sitz, Mayor of Remich, and Mr. Michel Gloden, Mayor of Schengen, for their warm hospitality, support, and for welcoming our participants to their beautiful municipalities.
A warm welcome was also delivered by Mr. Jacques Bortuzzo, President of CHINALUX; Mr. Himashu Upadhyay, President of IBCL; Mr. Lichuan Guo, Head of the Bilateral Affairs Service at the Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg; and Mr. Sudhir Kumar Kohli, Former and Founding President of IBCL. Their inspiring remarks highlighted the importance of fostering international friendship, business collaboration, and cross-cultural understanding.
