The CHINALUX ESG Event took place at Deloitte on 11 May. The event offered a great opportunity for the CHINALUX community to learn more about ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). The event was sponsored by CHINALUX founding member Deloitte.

At the beginning of the event, our members were welcomed by CHINALUX Vice President Mr. Jacques BORTUZZO. Following, Mr. Gregory Jullien, Senior Manager Tax from Deloitte Luxembourg gave a presentation on the tax angle of ESG.
The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Chris Hollifield, Head of Business Development at Luxembourg for Finance. The speakers of the panel included Mr. Clement Drescher from Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Ms. Petra Besson Fencikova from Société Générale Luxembourg, and Mr. Victor Qian from Huawei Luxembourg. During the panel session, the opportunities and challenges in implementing ESG were discussed.
