Despite the thunderstorm, the night was still filled with laughter, and the unmistakable sound of clinking glasses. Our “Welcome Back Members Cocktail” event, held on 21^st September, was a resounding success, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled to see our cherished members return with enthusiasm and warmth. The event was sponsored by CHINALUX founder member BIL. Around 120 people attended the reception.

To kick off, CHINALUX President Mrs. Zhujun (King) XIE delivered a heartfelt welcome address. She noted that over the past year, despite shifts in the international and economic landscapes, economic interactions between Luxembourg and China have remained positive. CHINALUX remains dedicated to providing its members with networking opportunities and avenues for expanding their business horizons. We see ourselves as a bridge for fostering economic communication between China and Luxembourg.

Next, we had the privilege of hearing from Mr. Jeffrey Dentzer, Authorized Management and Chief of CIB and Luxembourg market at BIL. On behalf of BIL, he extended a warm welcome to all the esteemed guests in attendance and expressed their steadfast support for CHINALUX.

Following this, Ms. Wang Yuan, Mme la Chargée d’Affaires ad interim of the Embassy of China to Luxembourg, graced us with her heartfelt speech. She emphasized the collaborative efforts between China and Luxembourg and acknowledged the invaluable role played by CHINALUX within the Chinese-Luxembourgish business community.
