On October 27, 2015, CHINALUX supported Huawei in celebrating the 6th anniversary of their presence in Luxembourg in the Coque on Kirchberg. Whereas Huawei Luxembourg had focused largely on professional products to date (e.g. networking products for telecoms and enterprises), this event, as a first, promoted Huawei's consumer products, including the new Mate S smart phone and the Huawei Watch. CHINALUX President Dirk Dewitte keynoted the event and talked about the business and cultural ties between Luxembourg and China, including those of Huawei's presence in Luxembourg.
