At the beginning of the event we shared a letter from Ms. Jingdong LIU, economic commissioner at the Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg. Before joining Luxembourg, Ms. LIU was the director of the Department of Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce in China, responsible for formulating China’s foreign investment and economic cooperation policies. Ms LIU She extended greetings to all guests and friends. 

Our members were then welcomed with words and well wishes from CHINALUX President Ms. Zhujun XIE and CHINALUX Vice Presidents Jacques Bortuzzo and François Cautaerts. Brasserie Nationale Director Mr. Mathias Lentz showed how to taste beers. Finally, we announced and welcomed our new corporate members, BCEE Spuerkeess and International School of Luxembourg (ISL). Ms Simône VAN SCHOUWENBURG from Spuerkeess and Dr David J Condon from ISL introduced themselves as well as their company and institution.
