About

How connected are education and business in today’s world? What can academia provide, and what is the business world looking for? Is there a need for broad international education or more narrow specialisation? And how important are technologies and languages?

In connection with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Luxembourg, the Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg and the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (CHINALUX) are pleased to invite you to a forum entitled “Education and Business Hand in Hand”.

Ever changing societal, educational and professional needs are creating new challenges for businesses and educational institutions. With the rapid development of China’s economy and the close ties between China and Luxembourg in terms of economic and trade cooperation, China has become a key partner and an important customer for many Luxembourg companies. Meanwhile, more and more Chinese companies are coming to Luxembourg to explore the market, creating future job opportunities for today’s students.

The Confucius Institute at the University of Luxembourg and CHINALUX have invited representatives of top educational institutions and companies in Luxembourg to share their experiences and discuss the importance of adapting to a constantly changing world and training the talent of tomorrow.
