On 30 January 2018, the BRIC Event 2018 was held in partnership by the Luxembourg Brazil Business Council, the Luxembourg-Russia Business Chamber, the Indian Business Chamber of Luxembourg and CHINALUX, together with LPEA.

Entitled "BRIC infrastructure investment", the event this year began with words of welcome from the BRIC Chambers' Presidents and organisers, followed by an opening speech by the Minister for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure of Luxembourg, François Bausch, and a presentation on the topic of green bonds by Julie Becker, Luxembourg Stock Exchange. A panel discussion then addressed the topic of BRIC infrastructure investment and Luxembourg, moderated by Sascha Bremer, Luxembourg for Finance.

CHINALUX were delighted to have in attendance the H.E. Mr. Huang Changqing, Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg.

After the formal proceedings, guests were treated to a networking walking dinner, with cuisine from the BRIC countries.
