CHINALUX Celebrates 5th Anniversary

On 31st May 2018, CHINALUX gathered with members and friends at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its 5th Anniversary.

 

The celebrations commenced with words of welcome from Jeannot Erpelding, Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, Director International Affairs.

 

Messages and well wishes were then shared with the attendees from: H.E. Mr. Étienne Schneider, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Minister of Internal Security, Minister of Defence; H.E. Mr. Pierre Gramegna, Minister of Finance; H.E. Mr. François BAUSCH, Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure; and H.E. Mr. Marc Hübsch Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Following, Luc Decker, Consulate General of Luxembourg in Shanghai, Consul General and Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office, Executive Director, shared insights from Shanghai.

 

CHINALUX President Dirk Dewitte, Vice President Zhu Jun XIE, and Director Mikkel Strørup then mentioned some of their many experiences as founders of the chamber over the past five years. Most notably, they outlined the development and further deepening of China-Luxembourg relations during this time and what this has meant for the evolution of CHINALUX.

 

Additionally, it was announced that CHINALUX have launched the China-Luxembourg Factsheet, which outlines the key facts and figures in terms of trade, demographics and “milestones” of China-Luxembourg relations.
