CHINALUX were delighted to welcome the Nanjing Luhe District delegation to Luxembourg this week, their third visit to Luxembourg since December last year.

On 23rd October, in the morning, the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce hosted a roundtable on the topic of “Nanjing and Luxembourg, a Dialogue for Innovation”. The delegates from Nanjing Luhe District introduced updates regarding Nanjing City, as well as opportunities in Luhe Economic Development Zone and Luhe Tech Innovation Park.

In the afternoon, our founding member, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), hosted the delegation and our members for a briefing on the topic of “Digital FinTech”, during which Mr. Serge Munten, Head of Agile Operations, BIL delivered a presentation pertaining to payment innovation, as well as outlined the FinTech ecosystem in Europe.

Our thanks to Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg, H.E. Mr. HUANG Changqing, and to Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, also to our colleagues and members who organised visits and meetings. We look forward to meeting with Luhe District colleagues in Nanjing during the Trade Mission to China in November 2019.
