CHINALUX were delighted, alongside the Confucius Institute at University of Luxembourg and the Union Commerciale de la Ville de Luxembourg, to co-organise this Chinese New Year celebration, which took place on 26 January 2019. Guests were delighted by Chinese dragon and lion dances performed by the internationally renowned AFDDLC troupe from Paris through the Luxembourg city center.

A variety of stands demonstrating traditional Chinese arts and pastimes were  set up on the Place d’Armes, such as Chinese paper cutting, tai chi, Chinese calligraphy and a host of other activities. Traditional Chinese dumplings were also served to all members of the public enjoying the festivities.
