On November 12, CHINALUX had the pleasure of hosting an informative seminar focused on the latest developments in Luxembourg’s dynamic real estate market. We were honored to welcome Ms. Wang Yuan, Chargée d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Luxembourg, alongside other distinguished embassy representatives, who contributed to the event’s success with their presence.

CHINALUX President Ms. Zhujun Xie opened the event with a warm welcome, setting the tone for an insightful evening. Following her remarks, Mr. David Syenave, Partner at EY Luxembourg delivered an engaging presentation, delving into current market trends and projections.

The panel discussion was moderated by Mr. Laurent Cooreman, CEO of Belair House—featured leading industry experts who shared invaluable insights on real estate valuation in today’s economy. Panelists included Mr. Antoine Le Bars, Partner in Banking and Capital Markets at EY Luxembourg; Mr. Rodrigue Abi El Hesn, Head of Enterprise Risk Management at BIL; and Mr. Max Didier, Managing Director at CDCL, each of whom highlighted key factors affecting valuation and investment decisions.

A lively Q&A session, moderated by Mr. Jacques Bortuzzo, Vice President of the China-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, offered attendees the chance to pose questions directly to the panel, making for an engaging and interactive experience.

The evening concluded with a vibrant cocktail reception, providing an excellent networking opportunity for attendees to connect with peers and industry leaders in a relaxed setting.
